Dang airport is situated in Rapti zone
of Nepal and is at an elevation of 2,100 feet above
the sea level and is situated at the south of the
city of Tulsipur. Dang Airport serves as an access
to five different district Head-quarters in that regions.
Besides Dang district, it is the regional hub for
the district of Salyan, Rukum, Rolpa, Pyuthan and
Argha khachi. This is one of the oldest Airport in
Nepal. It has been in existence from the time of DC-3
aircraft operation in Nepal.
It is popular for its dairy products, Honey and Live-stocks.
