Bajhang district is a part of Seti Zone. The district,
with Chainpur as its district headquarters, covers an
area of 3,422 sq km and has a population (2001) of 167,026.
Bajhang is the only access for the air transportation,
connecting peoples from all the far-western regions
to the low lands
